This event isn't that bad either. The main even is packed with stars - Hogan & Mr. T v Roddy Piper & Paul Orndorf with Muhamed Ali as the inforcer. It's a nice spectical, but overall the event focuses on a lot of celebritys it maybe didn't need. Other good matches on the show include Andre the Giant vs John Studd, Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda vs. Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik and Wendi Richter vs Lelani Kai. Wrestlemania 2 was held in 3 different locations so has 3 main event worthy matches. Those are Hulk Hogan vs. King Kong Bundy in a cage match, Rowdy Roddy Piper vs. Mr T in a boxing match and 20-Man Battle Royal with wrestlers and NFL players. The battle royal is a must see and the cage match is an enjoyable match. Randy Savage v George Steele is also very entertaining in a comical way. With over 20 matches (a lot of which very entertaining) this Tagged Classic is worth buying if you want to re-live the good old days.
Advantages: This is now the only way to buy the early events like wrestlemania, as no longer available on video. Disadvantages: You have to have both events, so if you have 2 on video, and want number one, you will end up with 2 again.
A definate must have for any wrestling fan, for anyone wanting to relive the early 80`s era of Wrestling, or for a new fan wanting to see some older material they have never seen, either way, this DVD is for you. Lots of older Superstars in their prime in decent matches. Some matches are not that memorable and some stroylines goin into some matches are poor with little build up, but the main events have good buildup and hype and make you want to ... ...was the hogan and Mr t vs Orndorff and Piper, and great value for money, 2 Major events on DVD at a good price! Definate buy for any wrestling fan!
