Wrestlemania XIX (20) was a mile stone for the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) as it was the companies flagship main events 20th anniversary. They promised one hell of a PPV and I can safely say where it had some really great matches it wasn't the PPV they promised it would be and possibly one of the worst Wrestlemania events in WWF/WWE history.
Granted it had some really cool matches like the World Heavyweight Championship but I am disappointed as a fan of the WWE fan for over 12yrs to say that most of the show was a huge let down to me and possibly other wrestling fans around the world.
I think the worst match of the event was the one I was mostly looking forward to Undertaker Vs Kane as it was highly predictable and I found the quality of the match was equal to all of their past matches which is of course very high but once you've seen this match played out 2 or 3 times there is no match else these two great superstars can do to top the fans expectency of them.
But dispite the PPV not being one of the best PPV's in WWF/WWE history as a true wrestling fan I dont regret paying for this event as I just love watching WWE PPV's such as Wrestlemania.
I haven't seen the DVD of this event yet but by the look of the extra features on the DVD it should be worth buying even at the expensive price of £24.99.
DVD Features: • Special Feature Information: ° The Road To Wrestlemania ° Post Match Interviews ° Westlemania Retro 10 Superstars Reveal Their Favourite Mania Moments ° Hogan vs McMahon Twenty Years In The Making ° Westlemania Promotional Spots ° Goldbergs WWE Debut

This was offtopic. This was about WM 20 not 19. A bit more explanation on the significane of WM and the history of WWE would be good. Also a big more on the matches and DVD extras.

Sorry but you've mixed bits and pieces from WrestleMania 19 & 20 here under a review for the WM 19 DVD. Maybe more info on the actual match & the DVD extras would have helped. Even if you picked one of the events to cover the review would make sense to people who aren't wrestling fans. Cheers, Craig.
