About the Video
Triple H is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. He has accumulated so many titles and accolades that he is guaranteed a spot in the Hall of Fame someday. He has feuded with many of the greats such as Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker and Mick Foley.
The video is full of wrestler comments about Triple H from WWE people like The Undertaker, Pat Patterson, Chris Jericho, Edge, Kurt Angle, Jim Ross Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ric Flair and Earl Hebner. They all depict Hunter as being a top shelf performer and someone passionate about wrestling. He is shown here as somebody talented and someone who is a good worker.
The first part documents Triple H's rise to stardom from a kid idolizing Ric Flair to going to WCW as Terra Ryzing. Tony Schiavonne even called him a young Ric Flair there. It also documents Triple H's early days in WWF as a snobbish blueblood to his rise to the top of the game.
It also documented the Madison Square Garden incident with the Clique. Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and Triple H broke kayfabe and bid each other goodbye as Hall and Nash were heading for WCW. Triple H got into a lot of trouble for that incident.
The video also showed how Triple H came to be known as the game and documents the McMahon Helmsley Era to the point they separated. It also highlights Triple H's feuds with Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, The Rock, The Undertaker, Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, and Vince McMahon.
There was also footage of Triple H's quadriceps injury. It also showed how he got back to wrestling after suffering this major setback. He was really determined to rehabilitate the injury and got back faster than expected. He even got complimented by the doctor because of his motivation and determination.
Motorhead was one of Triple H's favorite bands and he was elated to have them play him to the ring. A dream come true for him. Dreams do come true.
The video put the spotlight on Triple H's love for body building. To him it wasn't work but a hobby. This has worked well for him as he was very skinny when he debuted. He now is buffed and has a very good physique.
The video ends with Triple H talking about his kayfabe and real life wife Stephanie McMahon. He praises Stephanie for her good work on camera. He also talks about the realization of his dreams and this is quite inspiring.

A sketch from MAD TV - This has some pretty funny impressions of wrestlers. Check it out!
Triple H vs. John Crystal (May 22, 1995 Raw) - Triple H's debut!
Triple H vs. Cactus Jack (Royal Rumble 2000) - This match was awesome! Triple H and Mick foley work very well together.
Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat (Wrestlewar 1989) - Another classic from Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat.
Test and Stephanie McMahon's "marriage ceremony" - Triple H runs in and spills the beans that he and Stephanie were already married.
The Verdict
Triple H was one of the reasons I watched wrestling in the Attitude Era. He along with Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Mick Foley and The Undertaker made the WWE fun to watch back then. He is also responsible for two of the greatest factions in wrestling history - Degeneration X and Evolution. I remember those times when wrestling was at a golden age. Now wrestling is stale and made of storyline rehashes. It has evolved from a cutting edge product to a kiddie show. Thanks a lot to the PTC and WWE becoming a public company.
Triple H was one of the best performers during the Attitude Era but not as much so today partly because of age and injury. Triple H is still good but not that damn good as he used to be. I mean even greats like Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker were just shells of their former selves.
As much as I admire Triple H's in-ring ability and mic skills, I do not agree with him hogging world titles all the time. I mean since he is now part of the McMahon family, it would be in his best interest to promote young talent. I was really disappointed when he didn't put over Jeff Hardy after Hardy put two finishing maneuvers on him. I mean a Twist of Fate and a Swanton for crying out loud! It made Hardy look weak. What happens when he, Batista and the Undertaker retire? Who will take their spot?
I wish there was more coverage of Degeneration X and the King of the Ring which Triple H won. Degeneration X did a lot of crazy stuff back then and this helped Hunter's career. Controversy creates cash as Eric Bischoff would say.
In a way the documentary was inspiring as it showed a little boy's dream come true. He was able to realize everything he dreamt of. He was able to make it to the WWE. He wrestled with and against his idol Ric Flair. He became a world champion. It just shows us that anybody could become anybody as long as he has a dream and is willing to do anything to achieve it.
