About the Video
-Released on September 27, 2005 -Run time 90 min -Produced by the WWE -Depicted the wrestling career of The Ultimate Warrior
Pros
-The video showed some pictures of Warrior's early career in CWA, UWF, WCCW -The video starts of well by picturing The Ultimate Warrior as a charismatic guy who worked hard. -The video shows footage from Warrior's notable matches such as Wrestle mania VI against Hulk Hogan and Wrestle mania VII against Randy Savage -The commentary by Chris Jericho and Christian was amusing
Cons
-Jim Hellwig / Warrior was not in the video due to being in bad terms with the WWE -Derogatory comments by Ric Flair, Ted Dibiase, Jim Ross, Edge, Bobby Heenan Gene Okerlund, Jerry Lawler and Hulk Hogan -The video showed the warrior as someone with promos not making sense, no in ring ability, not being one of the boys, who did not care for the business and who was greedy. -No full matches were featured -The Ultimate Warrior was pictured in a negative light
The Verdict
-The video was totally biased in favor of Vince McMahon and the WWE. -The title of the video itself was a prelude to the demolition job WWE was going to do through this video. -The video was a demolition job plain and simple. -The video depicted The Ultimate Warrior as a person who was self-centered crazy, and greedy. -The video downplayed The Ultimate Warrior's contribution to the WWE and wrestling in general. -The video focused a lot on The Ultimate Warrior's lack of in-ring ability. It should be noted though that Hulk Hogan, Batista, John Cena and Bill Goldberg became big stars without having the skills of a Bret Hart or a Kurt Angle. Sometimes a good physique, mic skills or charisma can be enough. -Several times the Ultimate Warrior's absence of in-ring skills was stated. The Ultimate Warrior had in-ring skills. It was just not that varied and diverse. -I was appalled by what the WWE can stoop to just to destroy the Ultimate Warrior's reputation. Videos like this should highlight both the good and bad points of an athlete. I own Michael Jordan videos and they depict both good and bad. It showed when he was a one-man team who tried to win ball games by himself and showed his gambling problem (negative) and also showed his six championships and his various accomplishments (positive).

Advantages: If you were a fan of the Warrior, you need to own this Disadvantages: Pretty biased for a documentary
...abuse and personality clashes. The WWE hired and fired him no less than three times, each time trying to recapture the magic of his first run, before they parted ways in 1996. He surfaced again two years later for a brief stint in rival organisation WCW before finally calling it a day and retiring. As is common practice for retired wrestlers, WWE has put together a documentary charting his career. Normally such things tend to be a bit of a love fest, ... ...lengths Vince McMahon and the WWE will go to to try to get one over on him. It's no secret that Warrior was a difficult guy to work with backstage, and I don't doubt that he let his fame and success go to his head, but even I have a hard time believing some of the stories being thrown around - this is very much Vince McMahon's version of the truth, in which he portrays himself as a patient, forgiving, understanding man who only has his wrestler's ...

...from those still employed by WWE so need to be taken with a pinch of salt. If you followed American wrestling during this era then this is an enjoyable jaunt down memory lane. If you are looking for an expose as the the dealings behind the scenes of WWE, this is probably not for you. It is very much a propoganda piece and tells you that the Warror is no longer held in high regard at Titan Towers.. Extras are some of the Warriors most memorable matches, ...

Advantages: Great nostalgic trip and interesting interviews. Disadvantages: Bit too slanderous and negativley slanted.
...Warrior refused to work with WWE to create a career recap, so WWE decided to make a mockery of the Ultimate one. It's starts quite innocently just showing how Warrior got his start in the wrestling business where he teamed with Steve Borden who went on to become Sting. Then when he started to gain popularity the knives and daggers started to come out. Bobby Heenan and Ted Dibiase take shots at him which to be honest could be very well true, but with ... ...comments from Hulk Hogan seem a little out of context, having read Hogans auto-biography he speaks fondly of Warrior as a person and to work with, and I'd tend to beleive that there are many out there who would defend Warrior too if given the chance. Anyway the documentary is a tainted recap of the Warriors career but it's still fun to watch and interesting to see what people thought of him. The Extras ain't bad, they show his best match ever against ...
