Advantages: A couple of good matches and performances. Disadvantages: Bias voting tactics, stupid matches, lots of time wasting.
...were two different shows of WWE action; Raw, shown on a Monday night in America, and Smackdown, which recently changed from a Thursday to a Friday night. It got too much for many people, even for the 'marks' (or the die hard, soap opera like fans) of the show who were fed up with seeing the same guys on top all of the time and hogging the coveted Championships. When the WWE announced their first ever 'fan interactive' pay per view in the early part ... ...a year in which the WWE don't mug us. I can never really see the point in buying the pay per view anyway; you might as well wait for the DVD to come out. Here, however, I shoved a tape in the cassette player the following day when it was repeated on Sky Sports and watched in 'awe' as history was made in the world of wrestling.

Advantages: Flair vs. Orton Disadvantages: too many diva matches
...verging on excellent.
Overall WWE really hit on something when they decided to let the fans decide (even if they did try to manipulate it); it was a great concept that added a great deal of excitement to the show. The extras are a bit boring. They are:

Advantages: The card on paper looks great. Ric Flair's best match for years. Inter-active idea is a success. Disadvantages: Few extras. No really awesome matches on the card. The pillow fight bout!

Taboo. The word can mean several things. Say the word taboo to a off license and the owner will hand you a bottle of fruit flavoured vodka. Say the word taboo in a toy shop and you will be shown a highly successful board game. The word taboo actually means something a bit risqué, or something that you shouldn’t really say.
In October 2004 the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) decided to create a ground breaking wrestling event. An event in which the fans would decide on opponents, stipulations, weapons etc on the card via the internet. This lead to frantic voting on WWE.Com (in which I participated), and some really interesting result, and for once critic couldn’t argue that WWE wasn’t delivering what fans wanted to see.
