Firstly i think that these tagged classic dvds are excellent. They provide great value for money as you get two pay per views and they are a good way of keeping classic matches. The only downside for me is that they dont provide any extras which i would like to see.
Well first up is Survivor Series 1989 which in my opinion was pretty poor, nothing really surprised me. There were five matches all of which were 4 on 4 elimination matches. ... ...Hogan,Bret Hart,Randy Savage and most of the old school wrestlers.
Match of the night had to be the main event which was between The Ultimate Warriors(The rockers,ultimate warrior and Jim Neidhart) v The Heenan Family(Bobby Heenan,Andre the giant,Arn Anderson and Haku).
Some great technical wrestling but not many matches and no single matches at all.
Second disc is Survivor Series 1990 is not much better ... more

Well first up is Survivor Series 1989 which in my opinion was pretty poor, nothing really surprised me. There were five matches all of which were 4 on 4 elimination matches. Some pretty big characters on this show such as Hulk Hogan,Bret Hart,Randy Savage and most of the old school wrestlers.
Match of the night had to be the main event which was between The Ultimate Warriors(The rockers,ultimate warrior and Jim Neidhart) v The Heenan Family(Bobby Heenan,Andre the giant,Arn Anderson and Haku).

Second disc is Survivor Series 1990 is not much better but features the debut of the Undertaker which made it more worthwhile in my opinion. Only six matches on this card all of which were elimination matches and none of them stand out.
All in all these are not two of the best pay per views and i struggle to write much especially about the second disc just due to the fact that there seemed to be problems that needed ironing out which obviously they did in later Survivor Series.
