I enjoyed this match most times i hate Cruiserweight matches a lot of high flying moves during this match the winner Gregory Helms i was glad as well as i think he is a great wrestler. I like Funaki but I wish that WWE would not make him lose but he done good during this match.
Mickie James vs Ashley Massaro (w/Trish Stratus as Special Guest Referee)
The diva ... ...Cena vs Edge (w/Lita) - WWE Championship
I found this boring I am not a John Cena fan or Edge so I really never cared about this match.
Kurt Angle vs Mark Henry (w/Daivari) - World Heavyweight Championship
Putting these 2 together Kurt Angle is a good wrestler Mark Henry is rather boring. But a great ending to the match with the Undertaker showing up which was great to end the event.

Mickie James vs Ashley Massaro (w/Trish Stratus as Special Guest Referee) The diva matches don't really mean anything to be because i find them boring only if Trish or Lita were fighting then it would be a different story. It was an OK match but Ashley is boring while Mickie was entertaining I think Mickie has a lot of potential
The Boogeyman vs John "Bradshaw" Layfield (w/Jillian Hall) This match only lasted 1 min and 54 seconds a boring match which is disappointing to a Royal Rumble Pay Per View, The match ends with a Pumphandle Slam with the winner been The Boogeyman. Then Boogeyman puts some worms in Jillian Hall's mouth it bit sick. JBL was a champion for months on Smackdown but losing so easy is just ridiculous.
The Royal Rumble Match This was a silly place to feature the rumble overall this Rumble was OK it started out with Triple H and Rey Mysterio. The match was good but Rey Mysterio won you know a guy like him would never last that long. Still though Rey is an interesting wrestler with loads of high flying moves. Shame about Triple H losing but it is worth watching this was the 4th match on the event.

Overall Royal Rumble 2006 has it's good share of matches but this one is not classic and i don't think it will be remembered.
The DVD extras are not worth it at all 2 boring extras which are - Kurt Angle and Mark Henry Story - Rob Van Dam and Tatanka Smoke A Peace Pipe
Oh theres one thats pretty good - Past winners of the Royal Rumble
But why add Rob Van Dam and Tatanka smoking a peace pipe who cares about that it is worthless and pointless not adding value to the DVD at all and extra match would of added the value. The past winners of the Royal Rumble is the only good extra here as it is nice to see this if you did not know the past winners of the past Royal Rumble.
I would of liked the full royal rumble 2006 theme posted on the DVD because i think the theme was great but they cut it. The TV Spot for the Rumble by the McMahon family should of been included but wasn't which is a shame because it's a really good TV spot. The extras are disappointing which WWE never seem to add great ones which they should but if you like the Rumble it is good. If you are a WWE collector it is worth adding to your collection.
Advantages: Cena/Edge Disadvantages: Main Event and just about every other match

Edge vs. John Cena
JBL vs. The Boogeyman
Ashley vs. Mickie James.
Now to be honest, the under-card was a little lacking. The same can be said for most Royal Rumble's as the entire event is built around the Royal Rumble match itself. Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry was what you would expect. Angle carried Henry to a somewhat decent match but nothing special. Edge vs. Cena was one of the better main event ... ...casual viewer would want to spend.
All in all, it's an ok Rumble DVD. It's nowhere near the best Rumble they've put out but it's still one of the better PPVs in recent memory for the Rumble alone. If you're a WWE fan you should enjoy it. ...
