I'm not quite the Wrestling fan I used to be, but if there's one Wrestler that I'll always have time for it's Mick Foley, aka Cactus Jack, aka Mankind, aka Dude Love. Whatever name he fought under, he always pushed the limits of his pain threshold in order to give the fans their money's worth in entertainment and put on the most amazing fights in wrestling history.
This DVD contains some of Mick Foley's personal favourite and more memorable fights that took place in his unique Wrestling career, 14 in total. Not all are classic encounters, but they are fights that help define Micks history of wrestling during his time in ECW, SMW, WCW and the WWF - his more extreme fights from Japan are not on this DVD however. The fights are personally introduced by Mick who provides a little insight and history into each of the matches. People would argue as to what is the best fight on this DVD - for me it would have to be either the jaw-droppingly painful feats during the "Hell in the Cell" match against The Undertaker - which has to be seen to be believed, or the epic, brutal and bloody "Street fight" versus Triple H. But also bare in mind the title of this DVD - Mick Foley's Greatest Hits and 'MISSES'. Yes, there are some great fights on here but there are also a couple of terrible ones, including the "Texas Death Match" versus the completely drunken form of The Sandman for example... it's still a memorable encounter though. The extra's are pretty decent with many interviews and back stage antics courtesy of Mick and his alter ego's, and also thrown in is Mick's very first ring appearence in the WWF along with a couple of other bonus fights too.
Though it may not be a complete history of Mick Foley's career, this is still a must own purchase for Mick Foley fans and a worthy purchase for the casual Wrestling fan out there as you'll never get to experience another character in the Wrestling world quite like Mr. Foley.
