...I rememder watching the tv series of Button Moon in the 1980's as a child in the mornings on ITV and singing along t the theme tune.
"We're off to Button Moon will follow Mr Spoon Button Moon Button Moon."
I really liked this programe as a child but it dispeared off our screens without trace. This was proberley due to advancing technogoly and kids wanting better effects on the telly.

Advantages: Great cinematography and effects Disadvantages: A little dated
...-fi era, starting off the film genre in a dramatic way. War Of The Worlds and When Worlds Collide were all done after this film, and followed the same principles in cinematography, which I believe led to there success.
This film has everything a good film buff should need, great effects (of the era), plot, acting etc. The film took two years to produce and was quoted on a tag line "TWO YEARS IN THE MAKING".

Bitter Moon was released in the UK in July 1992 (and in the USA nearly 2 years later) and is a Roman Polanski production. It stars Peter Coyote, Emmanuelle Seigner, Hugh Grant, Kristin Scott-Thomas and Victor Bannerjee and a cameo appearance by Stockard Channing. The film is adapted from the novel Lunes de Fiel by Pascal Bruckner. It runs for 133 minutes and is rated certificate 18 due to several scenes of nudity and use of profanities.
Bitter Moon was filmed on location in Paris and at the Paris Studios Billancourt with cinematography by Tonino Delli Colli.
