* Who Is Vicky Entwistle ? *
Vicky Entwistle was born in Accrington , Lancashire on September 15th 1968 ; she is currently forty years old. She is an English actress and is famous for playing loudmouth Janice Battersby in the British soap Coronation Street ; a role which she has played since 1997. In January 2001 , Vicky was arrested for head-butting a Corrie fan. She has appeared on Stars In Their Eyes as Bjork. Vicky lost a lot of weight through healthy eating and exercising which resulted in her making a fitness video ; the one which I will be reviewing.

I'm quite a big Corrie fan , although a few months ago , due to having to work nights , I kind of lost touch with the soap. So when I did "get-back-in-touch" with Corrie , I was shocked when I saw the new Janice Batters by ; she was tiny! She looked really good and I was desperate to know how she had done it. So I was excited when she released her fitness video ; Wow! Weight Off Workout. I bought it from Amazon for a price of £12.98. Here , Vicky is joined by fitness instructor Richard Callendar.

The workout is as follows :

* Warm Up *
I found I was really 'warmed up' after this section'.

* Fat Burning Section *
Gets your heart racing and got me in a bit of a sweat ; it was good but I didn't find it challenging enough. Although those who are new to exercise might find it a challenge.

* Toning *
The toning section wasn't too difficult , but I really felt it the next day!

* Cool Down *
Cool Downs are usually my least favourite part of a workout , but I enjoyed this one!

When I tried out the DVD I was amazed at how easy the routines were to follow. I was happy because of this , because usually if a fitness video is hard to follow I get frustrated and give it up straight away! So I enjoyed this DVD due to the fact that the routines were easy to pick up. There is a "new bit" added onto the end of the routines , so that it doesn't become boring. I liked this as it kept the routine 'alive' and kept you thinking about what you were doing. This workout doesn't require a lot of space either , so that's good!

I really liked the instructor Richard. Not only was he really hot (!!!) , he was really friendly and helpful and really encourages the viewer at home , rather than the usual "Look-at-me-I-love-myself" kind of instructors you get on other fitness DVDs. He was not annoying at all! He's also quite comical on this DVD and I found myself laughing in some places. It was good 'having a laugh' whilst doing this workout as it made it more fun , rather than making you think "I'm only doing this because I have to".

You get a whole body workout with this DVD. It's good that it's quite a simple routine as it means anyone can do it , although I myself didn't find it very challenging , but I liked that I can do it as a bit of light exercise when I'm not really feeling like exercising. I do feel it the next day though , even if I don't feel like I worked hard the day before. I definitely feel it on my stomach and thighs , which I take to be a good sign even if it does hurt a bit.

The workout only lasts fifty minutes and the time flew so fast ; something I like when doing a workout , although I did enjoy myself doing this one.

Vicky is honest throughout the DVD , admitting that she found it difficult to do at first. She seems really down to earth ; something I like to see from a 'celebrity'. Vicky's 'before' and 'after' photos really prove that this DVD does work and I think that she was very brave to show her 'before' photo as it isn't very flattering. But good on her I say! I really didn't expect Vicky to do a fitness video ; so I was really surprised when I saw that she had. One thing I found quite funny , was the fact that I kept thinking of Vicky as Janice rather than as Vicky. I think it's because for as long as I can remember she's always been Janice and I've never seen her out of character , so this was a first for me.

I enjoyed doing this workout very much! I lost 2 pounds in the first week!
I would definitely recommend this DVD! It was definately worth every penny of the £12.98 I paid!
