Who Is Vicky Binns Vicky Binns is a young actress who hails from Tottington, Bury, Greater Manchester. She was born in 1982. Vicky first began her television acting career in 1998 on Children's ward (or The Ward it was later known by), she's probably more famous for her roles in soaps, Vicky played Ollie Reynolds in Emmerdale until 2003 and is currently apperaing i Coronation Street as Mollie Crompton.
Who is Rachel Ravenscroft Rachel Ravenscroft is an award winning personal trainer who has a background in dance. Rachel is well known on the fitness circuit and presents at conventions both in the UK and abroad.

My Experience Like most fitness DVD's this was released in January, the time of year most of us women resolve to lose some pounds and get in shape ready for summer. I really like exercise DVD's I think they are great for people (like me) who can't afford the Gym memberships, the downside is at home they're are always many more excuses for you not to do it. This January it seemed we were bombarded with fitness DVD's, there was loads to choose from and lots of them looked great, i narrowed my choices down to 3, Vicky Binns, Coleen Nolan and Natalie Cassidy cos they all look amazing now and all seem to have found something that works for them. In the end I picked this cos apart from being a big Corie fan, Vicky also lives quite nearby and occassionally comes into the Asda where I work. I ordered the DVD off HMV.co.uk, it cost me £13.99 (but I noticed today it's gone up to £17.99 but I don't know why), when it came I couldn't wait to get started. When the DVD starts I must say I had to avert my eyes at the sight of Vicky Binns prancing about in those silver hot pants, yes she looks fab but the camera shots are quite close up of her bum and other crotch, the words 'camel' and 'hoof' sprung to mind. After the prancing is over Vicky introduces the workout (wearing black jogging pants thank the lord), tells us how much she's lost, this is all accompanied by before and after footage which is quite impressive. Vicky then bring on Rachel and away they go. The first time I did this I just managed the warm up, the second time i got a bit into the Urban Burn and the third time managed all that section. It is definately one you have to build gradually up, only people who are really fit already would be able to the whole work out all in one go. The other thing with this DVD is that the moves aren't paticulally well explained, all the times I tried it I stll wasn't sure I was doing it correctly and found that Vicky and Rachel carry on to the next move before I'd mastered the previous one. The work out also takes quite a lot of space and if your a bit uncordinated (like myself) you may trip over your feet a litte. To be honest I didn't really enjoy it, the presenting is OK, both Vicky and Rachel are pleasant enough but the setting and dackdrop just ooze cheapness, it's just a room with a shiney curtain. I'm also not into urban music very much and found the soundtrack quite boring. Vicky's eating plan is also boring. Even if you are overweight you don't have to be a genius to know what you should and shouldn't be eating. I have since swapped this DVD with my mate she had the Nataile Cassidy one so I'm going to see if that's any better.
Overall If you are going to try this one i'd advise you try before you by. It's a good workout but you really do the co-ordination to be able to do some of the moves as they can be a bit complex. And the hot pants....NO!
