Advantages: It´s entertained and you laugh a lot. Disadvantages: ------------------------
Very bad things is directed by Peter Berg and it´s his first film as director, some debut !
The film is an authentic kick on the face of the conservative American society. It´s the antithesis of the American dream. The perfect woman and man, perfect houses, perfect wedding, perfect life, nothing of this exit in this film.
When it was present for the first time,it was very criticized, expecially for the end of the film.
Critical censured the use of a physical ... ...you smile.
The cast is very good and they are wonderfull, expecially Cameron Diaz.
I recomended this film to all the people that want to pass a good time.
Well,I finish.I hope that you undestand me good.I´m a spanish boy and my english perhaps isn´t very good, but i think that you understand the review.

Advantages: good spielberg/cruise action Disadvantages: in my view none but some people will not like it
...responsible for films like Blade Runner and Total Recall and with Steven Spielberg as the director this film is guaranteed to be at a very high standard.
The only badthing about this DVD is that there is no audio commentary because Spielberg believes that they are bad for the film but overall this film is a must buy and if your not sure rent it first because it is not suited to all tastes but does have a few very good unpredictable twists near the end.

Advantages: Erm the only one is Jack Black oh and the Soundtrack Disadvantages: Almost everything else about the film
...for advertising the film on the actual DVD for that film, it’s of absolutely no use to anyone. Again If they must include theatrical trailers why not do it for similar films that you might like if you like this one. Just a thought but a rather unimpressive 1/5
Finally we have the audio commentary from the director Jake Kasden and the writer Mike White. This living up to the way everything on this disk seems to go is pretty bad. Both of them have rather boring voices that really put you off from the start and when their not trying to be funny they seem to leave huge gaps in the commentary, which personally I find to be a worthless use of the commentary. Overall I found it a struggle to get through even the first 10 minutes let alone the whole thing again not very impressive. 1/5
So with a bad film and some poor DVD extras there really...

Advantages: Funny in parts Disadvantages: Disappointing 2nd live dvd
...After a late introduction to Black Books and since falling in love with Dylan Moran i managed to watch his first Stand up DVD: Monster - Live. This lived up to the expectation i had after witnessing his comedic talent in Black Books and so was even more excited by the release of a second live DVD. Unfortunately i have to say i was slightly disappointed with Like, Totally Live. I thought the subjects he touched upon just weren't funny in the same way he had managed to make things hilarious in his first show, as if he was just trying a bit too hard and pushing his deliverance of the material. It might be what somebody would find funny, as comedy can be a very personal thing, it wasn't unwatchably bad, but just didn't live up to the level of humour in the first DVD. I think strangely enough, in this DVD, Dylan Moran just wasn't acting...
