...Border Collie Sheepdogs - Off-Duty I was bought this a couple of years back by a friend for Christmas, I had never even heard of it un-till they but did have various other border collie videos/dvds being mad on border collies I knew I would like this dvd as it has border collies in which are my favourite breed of dog. I am reviewing the dvd version Border Collie Sheepdogs - Off Duty and as far as I am aware this is the only format it can be purchased in. This film is about a large group of Border Collie Sheepdogs who work on a farm enjoying their spare time being allowed to just be dogs and play and have fun just like any other dog is allowed to do. This dvd includes puppies being reared and bought up with the older dogs and many other key features through out the dvd all though not worded it is still clear to understand... Read review

Advantages: Sumptuous, exciting and vivid
Disadvantages: Not everyone's taste

...of Marianne was particularly un-sexy and didn’t fit the character at all. There is also plenty of haranguing and conversation at the nobleman’s dinner table and I was starting to lose interest. Fortunately, the film does pick itself up again, and once you are into the second hour, the action is virtually relentless. Fonsac’s companion, Mani, comes into his own and there are some great sequences involving a trap for the beast. The political machinations of the plot also go into overdrive later in the film, and the film twists and turns its way through the one surprising development after another. The film’s use of special effects is fairly limited, and probably rightfully so.
