The President of the USA addresses a summit of world leaders in Salamanca Spain, gun shots are fired at the President, soon after a bomb then goes off resulting in a complete wreck. The media reporter also gets blasted by the bomb along with many others. Dennis Quaith a US security expert is in charge of the President's Security and
the film for the first hour includes the President assisination attempt which is presented in different vantage points. This is in effect a repeat of the story time after time from a different perspective of those people who were at the scene of the bomb blasts.
forest Whitaker is shown to be an honest looking person who is happy to be abroad in Spain for the first time in his life. He captures most of the story as it unfolds on his camcorder. He gets the action of the scenery, the suspected bomber who was standing in the building, along with the crowd. It was this attempt of the director to get a real time perspective of the action as it happened from the viewpoint of just an innocent bystander. i was fascinated to watch the film as the camera effects and bomb explosions use different camera angles which makes it different when watching the story unfold from a different persons viewpoint. I would stress that whilst the film was seen to be
the good points about this film are that the special effects are realistic and the acting in terms of quality and emotions is good. I liked the fast moving response time shown by Dennis Quaith in most of the scenes he features in. The use of stunts, and cliff hangers also are included which makes the film really worth watching. Combining the scenes with Dennis
from the President's viewpoint by using stunt doubles the main action provided some real life questions as to whether or not governments have stunt doubles of the world leaders themselves. During the film some comedy was mentioned when the real President said "he does not even look like me".
