It's 1969 and Mary Banner is a bookish unpopular girl who has unexpectedly been invited to the dance by a star athlete. His intentions are less than admirable however and after trying to escape from him Mary suffers a long and painful death. Years later in 2005 Sam (Kate Mara) and her girlfriends are having a slumber party on prom night and while discussing urban legends and local lore they invoke Mary's name and bring her back from the dead. This sets off a string of local murders each executed according to the dictates of a different urban legend. Sam and her brother David (Robert Vito) take it upon themselves to investigate researching the original crime in an attempt to thwart the revenge the wronged spirit is determined to see through.

Advantages: Good premise, clever ending Disadvantages: Too similar to other films
right from the offset. The beginning is strong and it echoed the premise of Scream with the brutal murder of an innocent teenager at the start which sets the scene for the entire movie; to guess who the killer is. This premise worked well 10 years ago but now it has to be pretty clever to outwit someone because we?ve seen it all before.
I like how this film plays with your sense of reality, even if you?re not familiar with all the ways in which the teenagers are killed as I wasn?t you know in the back of your head that these are real urbanlegends and maybe they did happen in real life way back when therefore what?s to stop them happening again. This film reminds me of Se7en starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, the film focuses on a serial killer who kills people using the seven deadly sins (lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy ...

Advantages: everything you ever wanted to know about Superman Disadvantages: Presenation could of been better
, Christopher Reeve, being in a terrible horse riding accident which paralysed him and eventually led to his death, the Superman movie franchise almost completely died with him.
That was until Bryan Singer brought Superman back to the big screen with the new movie 'Superman Returns', and not only does it seemed to have revived the character, but also its revived the previous movies and all its history.

Although I owned all the previous movies on tape before, and the Superman movies 1&2 on DVD, this was a 'must purchase' for me because not only did it have all 4 movies on DVD which was almost unheard of until now, and not only because it also came with the new Superman Returns movie by Bryan Singer, but the fact that it included so much bonus material and different ...

This is the king of all boxsets, its amazing. It has all of the matrix films plus loads of special features. Its not really for anyone who hasnt seen any matrix films yet but if your a fan its totally worth buying. Its great value for money as aswell as getting all the films you get 35 hours of special features. Overall its one of the best boxsets I have ever come across and would recomend it to anyone. Its for anyone 15 years and older and inside there are 10 discs including films and special features. In my opinion this is quite cheap as I got it for much more so I would advise anyone to get it here. I would give it 10/10. ...
