Selene goes out to find this Micheal at his apartment,Selene tells Micheal what going on and ask him why do the lycan want him, he reply with i dont know,he was bitten by a lycan.Lucian but Selene does not know it Lucian jush yet.
While Selene reads a book on vampires history, she reads about Lucian.(Micheal Sheen) Selene awakes Viktor (Bill Nighy) ahead of his time,and form her mind and a mirror tells Viktor whats going on,as Victor awakes and as he is being filled with blood he calls Selene in the tomb to take "you must be judged" ( she in a world of s***.)
They now find out that the blood of Micheal Colvin can make them both lycan and vampire,Voktor has flash backs of have to kill his own child for loving Lucian,
Micheal Colvin now has both bloods,and this is the last thing i will tell you, you have to whatch it for yourself it is a great movie.
AS Micheal Colvin changes out of human form, Viktor tells Selene why he had to do what he had done,his child was going to bare a child of Lucian so he put a end to it by burning her alive, Viktor and Micheal Colvin fight it out,as well as Selene aand Viktor and that all i can tell you, to find out who gets killed and who, killed him this is a must watch..

Advantages: Action, looks good, interest plot with twists, extra features Disadvantages: Lose two commentaries (compared to normal), perhaps too much gore (if possible)?
of the cast is pretty good overall, and most of the acting is decent, though perhaps lacking that special factor that makes a film a classic. It also stars Wentworth Miller, Erwin Leder, Robbie Gee and Sophia Myles, amongst several others.

Advantages: Lots of action, good graphics Disadvantages: Bit slow in places, not enough hand to hand fights
for the death of her parents. She finds out that they are taking humans and look as if they are planning a huge attack on the Vampires.
The Vampire high council don't believe her, they still believe that the main werewolf leader Lucian is dead and that the number of Lycans around is small. How wrong could they be....
The movie now moves on to Selene finding a human they are after and taking him to the headquarters and finding out what they want with him!
Little doe's she know the real truth behind everything that is going on! The current leader of the Vampires is a traitor! He has other plans and something Selene does not know about until it's to late.
I will stop there on this review as it will give to much away and you won't want to watch the rest.
I would say this version the Extended version is much better than the other DVD ...

In UNDERWORLD, a dark and Gothic monster action movie, vampires and lycans an ancient form of werewolf are at war. While the vampires inhabit a gigantic castle that houses their ancestor's tombs, the lycans live underground in a dilapidated sewer cave. Both teams are equipped with big guns, and they are constantly innovating deadlier bullets to gain advantage over each other. On the vampire side, the leather-clad death agent Selene (Kate Beckinsale) delegates teams of vamps to attack the lycans. But when she discovers that the lycans have kidnapped a human medical student, Michael Corvin (Scott Speedman), she knows the worst is on its way. Against the orders of her superior, Kraven (Shane Brolly), who is obsessively in love with Selene, she awakens the most powerful vampire of all time, Viktor (Bill Nighy) and prepares for a massive feud against lycan leader Lucian (Michael Sheen). Director Len Wiseman offers a tough, fast, and gory addition to the horror-fantasy genre with UNDERWORLD. Impressive special effects show the lycans transforming from humans to werewolves, and the lycans' ability to squeeze silver bullets out of their skin is also rudely fascinating. Beckinsale is captivating in the role of the lead vamp, with her leather corset, pouty expressions, and double-fisted pistols perfectly communicating the glam-action mood of the film.
