Advantages: Good for beginners with a little experience Disadvantages: Not for complete beginners
...This is a good DVD for anyone who wants to get started on the electric guitar, and begin to play things a bit more complicated to impress friends and family.
Keith Wyatt is obviously a very accomplished and skilled guitar player, and he knows what he's talking about. He presents new skills clearly and teaches what he knows well.
The only flaw in this DVD is that it may be too hard for complete beginners of the guitar. Where a couple of the lessons it has should be devoted to how to hold the guitar, tuning, how to strum properly and basic chords, it races through these basic skills quite quickly.
However, once you have mastered these key skills, the instructional guide moves along at a good pace, and covers lots of things, such as minor pentatonic scales, major pentatonic scales, dominant chords, power chords, and how to play in electric...

Advantages: In depth look at the album. Extra material for DVD. Disadvantages: Not long enough!
...Jones - Guitar, Glen Matlock - Bass and Paul Cook - Drums), plus manager Malcolm McLaren and graphic artist Jamie Reid, discussing the origins of how the group came together and started rehearsing to build up some songs for a live set and ultimately, to record an album. You notice that John Lydon in particular has lost none of his conviction and fire, still coming across as articulate and intelligent. Advantages: Oasis songs, good guitar techniques Disadvantages: Noel is missing
...to be moderately easy to play. However i did see this dvd on e-bay and at only £3 curiosity got the better of me so i bought it.
The first thing i will say is that immediately obvious that Noel Gallagher is not anywhere to be seen on this video!! However, Guitar ace Jamie Humphries (who?!?!?) gives you a note-by-note guide to five massive Oasis hits being
Live Forever
Champagne Supernova
Don't Look Back In Anger
Wonderwall
Roll With It
The dvd is watchable and does give away some "secrets" and ifluences which Noel uses in his song writing. It also teaches you every riff, chord and solo piece in each song.
All in all a good dvd that will teach some young up and coming Oasis fans the style of Noel Gallagher, however for me personally I just didnt really get it with some strange guy playing Oasis songs.
Definately worth buying if you want...
