As classes are only once a week and not on at all over the summer holidays I have bought a couple of dvds with which I can practice at home. This dvd is suitable for those that are just starting to learn belly dancing, those who have been doing it for a little longer may find some of the moves a bit basic. After learning for a year, I find this dvd covers things we've gone over and over in class already so to me I want a dvd that's a bit more advanced. I use this dvd to practise moves I already know. ...With re-released classics of yore, there's always the threat of not living up to childhood remembrance. Too often has been the case that rose-coloured glasses have come into play and I've been disappointed viewing things without them. But I'm pleased to say- not this time! This show has stood the ultimate test of time and is everything I remember it to be- and much, much more. BACKGROUND The BAFTA winning series was written by Steven Moffat (Coupling, Joking Apart), and ran from 1989 until 1993, making 5 seasons in total. ...Farscape is a most wonderful science fiction adventure with a gripping story, interesting universe and characters you just have to learn more about. John Crichton, a young astornaught becomes lost in the far reaches of outer space with no way to communicate with earth. Lost and alone we follow his adventures in a strange and unusual part of the universe. There is humour found in the most dire situations and several edge of your seat scenes. My favourite episode shows Chichton playing a virtual reality game in the middle of a battle zone, having to escape the virtual world before being destroyed in the real one. This box set is very worth the expense to fans of the series as it is cheaper alltogether rather than buying each DVD set seperately.... Read review
