...had the pleasure of seeing u2 in concert three times now.I have been an avid fan of their music for roughly 15 years and watched as the band grew into what i consider the finest rock group of the last two decades.Its easy to sum u2 up with words like.brilliant,genius,entertaining and so on.I believe that you dont have to be a follower to appreciate the band and what they have achieved.They are probably the only band i know that can change their style ...

This dvd concert captures u2 at their very best and a 2 hour and 12 minute running time is in my opinion not long enough.
The opening is as spectacular as you would hope for and when the lights come up and they break into the song ELEVATION it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Of course they have political views and they are well documented in their songs.nonetheless i will review this dvd as i see it and let you make up your own minds.

The dvd cover is well designed in black and white with flashes of colour and the inner sleeve opens up to a three way cover showing the masses of fans.In the middle is a man waving an irish flag in colour which sends its own message.
Also within is a small booklet with some pictures and some interesting reading about the venue and the reason the songs were written.
The dvd itself has all the usual u2 graphics and is so well put together.
The menu is a little confusing because it has many background movements but its still brilliantly done.
Sound quality comes in the format of pcm stereo,dts dolby 5.1 surround sound.
Aspect is 16:9 and is is English language.
Subtitle options of French,German,Spanish And Brazillian Portuguese.
Another great feature of this dvd is it also doubles as a dvd rom where you can access special features such as a spin cam which gives you interactive camera angles of the concert(brilliant).
Also you can access screensavers,a calender,tour diary and weblinks.
The dvd itself is so comprehensive it also has a bonus track which is "Mysterious ways" and a documentary titled "The Unforgettable Fire" from Slane in 1984.
All in all a very good dvd and a fantastic concert.
