stylish romantic comedy about the highs and lows of married life.Following Joanna Wallace (Hepburn, at the peak of her powers) and husband Mark (Albert Finney - Big Fish, Tom Jones), a couple whose marriage has reached crisis point, and directed by Stanley Donen (Singin' in the Rain and that other Hepburn classic, Charade), the film moves back and forth through the couple's rocky marriage, from their first meeting on the road in Europe, to their subsequent infidelities and parenthood.Audrey Hepburn fans will be delighted to see the fashion icon in a selection of stylish and outrageous costumes, some of which were designed by Mary Quant and Paco Rabanne, whilst Albert Finney's wardrobe was designed by the Queen's personal couturier Sir Hardy Amies. With great European locations, a memorable supporting performance from William Daniels, a lush score by Henry Mancini and a sharply observed screenplay by Frederic Raphael, Two for the Road is a timeless and perceptive comedy about love and disillusion.

This is the first ime 'Two for the Road' has been released on DVD- and it is about time, for many Audrey Hpeburn fans have been waiting tor it to appear on the DVD market. Filmed in 1966 by Stanley Donen, who also filmed the Hepburn classic 'Charade', the film marks somewhat of a comeback for Hepburn, having taken a few years out for the birth of her children. Here we see her teamed with Albert Finney- a fine English actor. The pairing is a brilliant one, they work so well together, firstly playing a couple in love, and later on a couple going through marriage troubles. The story is a complex one with changes in time frame, but simply it tells the story of Joanna (Hepburn) and Mark (Finney). Their story charts their initial meeting on the road in Europe, to their subsequent trips around Europe, their infidelities and parenthood. What comes across is that the film seems to be split into two sections- the happier first secion and the darker second. Arguement after arguement becomes rather monotonous in the second half, but the loveness of the pairing of Hepburn and Finney shines through. As always, Hepburn acts as rather a clothes horse during the film, and here we see her in a range of Mary Quant outfits, epitomising the 60's era. The film has many great locations from around Europe, and a lush and continual score by Henri Mancini. All these tie in together with perfect direction to make this film such a memorable one, and change to what the audience would come to expect from an Audrey Hepburn picture. Sadly for Hepburn fans there are no extras on the DVD. It would have been nice to see some form of short documentary.
Advantages: Musicians were outstanding Disadvantages: Singer wasn't amazing.
...Well wat can i say about this one i think that the world tour and this DVD has been eagerly awaited by many fans.
I think that Death on The Road is not the best but still a bloody good live DVD. As usual the guitarist wowed me with their stunning complex solo's being a guitarist myself i can see how they are absolutly amazing and never made one mistake. A truely amazing performance yet again i think that the only let down was bruce dikinsons singing as after watching Rock n' Rio so many times i was expecting the works. I think the guitarists, drummer and bassist really did impress but singing was bad at some points in the show. It was like he had forgoton the words.
Still don't let that put you off still a great DVD to watch only a few bad points with the singing but the rest was good.
The track list for the show was...

Advantages: Reality Based Live Action And loads Of Big Diggers Disadvantages: Music Can Get A Little Annoying
...Product
The DVD case is blue with a picture of a tractor in a cog wheel, a hard hat, a spirit level and a road sign with a man digging on it. I bought this for a two year old I look after (Joe) who loves diggers, dumpers, tractors and excavators. The DVD is in three parts, each part is roughly 35 minutes long:
Road Construction Ahead
House Construction Ahead
Farm Country Ahead
Each part can be played separately through scene selections.
What's on the DVD
Come on everybody grab your hard hats and join us for 110 minutes of reality based live action, rock blasting, excavating, bull dozing, cement pouring, house building, food growing, mind blowing fun.
Road Construction Ahead
This DVD starts with two small boys playing with their dump trucks in the muck ( Joe loves this bit as it is also his favourite thing to do...

Advantages: Great value for money, good bonus features Disadvantages: None
...Well, where to start. Firstly, let me say what great value this DVD box set is. Not only do you get the complete series of Max and Paddy on one DVD (complete with bonus features), you also get the 'Power of Two' workout DVD which is hilarious and last but not least you get the CD soundtrack to 'Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere'.
This is a must for any Peter Kay fan, the extra features on the Road to Nowhere DVD are great- they include deleted scenes and out-takes that will have you in fits of laughter.
All six brilliantly funny and entertaining episodes of the series are included. I don't want to give away the plot lines and spoil it for you. If you have never seen Road to Nowhere but are a Peter Kay or Phoenix Nights fan then you have to buy this set!
All of this is packaged in a nicely designed DVD case that will look...

DVD Description
After 12 years of marriage, British couple Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney find themselves wondering whether they should continue forward through life together or go their separate ways. Bickering and bliss get equal time as husband and wife remember the past in its sunny and stormy times, and this perceptive tale of the struggle to create and maintain a fulfilling marriage rings true in nearly every scene. Seven years earlier, director Stanley Donen explored the stress fractures in marriage with Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr, and Robert Mitchum in the marvellously keen dramatic comedy THE GRASS IS GREENER, and Donen returned to the subject again in the early 1980s in BLAME IT ON RIO with less empathy and more nudity. TWO FOR THE ROAD, however, has always been the most popular of this trio of films about marriage on the rocks, as Hepburn and Finney give winning performances of partners who love each other but aren't sure they're in love anymore. Screenwriter and novelist Frederic Raphael's sparkling screenplay gives the movie zest and poignancy. Hepburn's wardrobe was designed by Mary Quant and Paco Rabanne, while Sir Hardy Amies dressed Albert Finney.
