    Advantages Advantages Tongue-in-cheek fun

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not as good as film one

--------- USA PG 13 87 Minutes Action --------- The Phone's Man: [on phone] I'm looking for a transporter. Frank Martin: I'm listening So, this the second film in the tongue-in-cheek Jason Statham action trilogy, but, alas, very much the worse of the three, the decision to set it in America for all concerned to cash in after the success of the opening cult hit a very bad call indeed. The original Transporter movie had a real anti-Hollywood feel to it and why it worked so well and so you do wonder why on earth have a sequel in America? Well, as I said before, it was for obvious financial ... more

Advantages Advantages Fast paced, action filled, stunts galore, martial arts abound

Disadvantages Disadvantages Little story and no great acting... but who cares :o)

Transporter was a very minor hit in the cinemas but obviously made good money on the release of the DVD as the eponymous 'Transporter', played by Jason Statham, returns for a second bout of high octane action. Transporter 2 is full of what you would expect… unbelievable car chases, innovative and exciting stunts, some cracking fight scenes, a villainess who spends most of her time in lingerie and a ludicrous plot… in fact everything that makes a perfect switch your mind off Friday night movie! This time the Transporter has a nice easy driving job, looking after the young son of a famous ... more

Advantages Advantages Great action film, lots of fighting and stunts

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit unrealistic if you like true to life films

Frank's back! And he's fitter and better than before. Working as a temporary driver for a young rich kid called Jack, Frank lands himself in a host of trouble after promising him he will never let anyone hurt him! He is (in true action/adventure style) kidnapped along with young Jack by the nasty and evil Gianni and his crazy sidekick Lola. Under the guise of a ransom, Gianni has bigger plans for Jack and his family. That was until Frank got in the way. Advantages Advantages great action scenes, great cast performances

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

Directed by Louis Leterrier, this action packed sequel, sets out to grab its audience and take them into a world where violence, kidnapping and psychopathic women with barely any clothes on, are all part of the norm. Starring Jason Statham, Allesandro Gassman and Amber Valletta, to name but a few, this film is predicted to be a hit with both sexes, but is it really as good as its trailer says that it is? *** The Plot *** A rich family hire Frank Martin (Jason Statham), to chauffeur their young son Jack Billings, not knowing that he is usually used to transporting different types of goods ... more

Advantages Advantages Good fast paced action movie, decent martial arts scenes

Disadvantages Disadvantages Could have done with another big name

It seems that I can’t resist watching Jason Statham in movies. In fact it’s almost getting like my Steven Seagal addiction where regardless of how good I think it’s going to be I have to watch it. That is why, even though I felt a sequel wouldn’t work at all I still ended up watching it. It seems that Jason Statham is getting stuck in a rut with the roles he is accepting but despite that I did really like the first Transporter movie and so it was really inevitable that I’d be seeing this regardless of my prior concerns about it. Statham resumes his role from the first movie as a Transporter, a ... more
