Well, I want to see this film with a friend called Ben Silk and he fell asleep five times during this movie and to be honest, I cannot blame him since it is probably one of the worst films for boredom I've ever seen.
Perhaps the one very small redeeming feature of the film is a joke said near the beginning - all the rest of the film is really, really boring.
The plot is not incredibly difficult to follow, but I found it boring. To tell you the truth, I can't really remember much about the plot except that it had to do with drugs and Catherine Zeta Jones is in this.
The atmosphere is at best creepy - very much so. The world of drugs I've always found to be a creepy place.
The only action during the film was when my friend's watch went off during the film and I had to wake him up to turn it off.
To be honest, Traffic is more like a film documentary than a film and although I haven't anything against documentaries, this film really failed to give the audience anything worthwhile and I found myself going out the cinema gutted that I went to see it at all as was my friend and the film has been the subject of ridicule ever since. At least we can see the funny side of this film.
The music was fine. No problem there. As with most films, the music works and it works here. It's about the only thing which does work and has any worth.
The acting is nothing special, either. It's alright, but this is where the movie falls with the really farce plot and the acting!
The film (dare you buy it) is available in the shops and on internet websites. It's priced around £12.00 for the video and about £18.00 for the DVD if I remember rightly.
estry of three separate stories woven together by a common theme: the war on drugs. Bold in scope, it showcases Steven Soderbergh at the top of his game, directing a peer...
