Beanie Babies were at their height a year or so ago, everyone wanted them not only because they were cute but because of their collectability & value over a given period of time.
But now I think the bubble may have burst and people have all moved on to the Pokemon fad. However, I still have one remaining Beanie, a little yellow duck called Quackers.
It was given to me by someone very special and still very close to my heart all those months ago. And it brings back so many happy memories, especially how Quackers came into being during a lazy convesation about paddling ducks.
I still love Quackers with his big orange bill and cute little helpless eyes. He maybe worth a lot of money in a few years time, but I wouldn't swap him for the world because of all the cherrished memories I would lose, especially from that special someone who gave it to me two years ago!!
Beanie Babies are still available and I would recommend you get your hands on them while their relatively cheap. you just never know, fads come back into fashion, and you'd be Quackers not to invest :o)
