I remember how excited I was about toy story coming out. It was the first of its kind, a completely computer generated feature length film. I had come to expect a high level of quality from previous walt disney films, but was genuinely surprised at the standard of this offering. Aladdin had seen a shift towards a more parent friendly, intelligent style of film making, that Toy Story extended upon. HIghlighted perfectly by a comment to Woody (the protagonist of this dare I say it, childs epic film saga): "Whadya say I get someone else to watch the sheep tonight?" Bristling with deliciously witty asides, and painfully gorgeous visual humour, you will be laughing right along with your children. Years in the making, this offering boasts everything you could look for in a childrens film, and then some. Best of the best.
