...It is easy to forget the impact that TotalRecall had when it was first released.
It was the most expensive film ever made at the time and it is still easy to see why.
Good old Arnie is cast as an everyday worker who has a past life hidden away inside his head.
The action soon hots up as things start to come back to him and he is drawn to his former life on Mars.
Soon his lovely wife (Sharon Stone) is trying to kill him as he realises that the life he is living is a lie.
Once he arrives on Mars things really start to warm up as the great story unfolds.
Fantastic special effects and a great story line make this a must for any film fan.
If your not an Arnie fan give it a go, you make just be suprised....

Advantages: Sci-Fi/Action, very engaging and memorable film Disadvantages: If you dislike Arnie at the best of times, you won't enjoy this
...Set in the near future, TotalRecall is about a man called Dennis Quaid, living a normal life, when suddenly a "memory cap" in his brain is made to malfunction and he starts to remember who he really does, or does he?
This fast paced sci-fi action thriller has many plot twists and turns, and the heart stopping special effects were wonderful for a film made over 10 years ago, if you like hi-tech gadgetry, this film has it all:- motion trackers, wall-tv, robotic cars, space ships, not to mention mines on mars and colonies there too.
Arnie is well supported by a young looking Sharon Stone and even younger looking Rachel Ticotin, and the fact paced screenplay is ably directed by Paul Verhoven, who you may recall directed "Starship Troopers" more recently.
Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys tricky plot twists, action...
