This is episodes 6-9 of series one of Torchwood. In my opinion the episodes on this dvd are generally not as high quality as the first 5 episodes. However, Countrycide (episode 6) is one of the best episodes of the series. It develops the charcter of Ianto further, after he first played a major role in Cyberwoman. Episode 7 gives Tosh a little more to do, she leads the episode extremely well and for me is one of the better actors in the series. Episode 8 is pretty slow to get going and is one of the few episodes that would not work at all as a stand alone episode. It feels a little rushed in the concluding 5 minutes, as though too much time was spent on the build up and there wasn't enough left for the action. Episode 9, Random Shoes was the weakest of the bunch, I do not feel it added much to the character of Gwen that we did not already know and it is a much slower paced drama than expected. The extras were intersting but not great, they did not really add a lot to the dvd. I would say they are less enjoyable than the TV version (Torchwood Declassified/ Doctor Who Confidential.) If you enjoyed Doctor Who and/ or the first episodes of Torchwood you will enjoy this, it's cheesy, silly and unbelievable in places but this adds to it's appeal!
