general. The title track on The Last DJ tells of "the last human voice" with integrity on the airwaves. "Money Becomes King" is the story of the rise and corruption of a rock star, which becomes a metaphor for the form itself. "Joe" is about a music CEO whose creed is: "You'll get to be famous / I get to be rich." Meanwhile, "When a Kid Goes Bad" and "Lost Children" are self-explanatory titles, describing the result of all this 21st-century ennui. There are great lyrics here, hitting everything from Britney to corporate sponsorship ("All the music gave me was a craving for lite beer")--but, musically, Petty and his band aren't quite up to their old standards. You can still hear classic rock references: "Money Becomes King" nicks the opening of the Turtles' "You Showed Me"; "When a Kid Goes Bad" is a pop variation on the Beatles' "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"; and the piano-driven "Like a Diamond"--the best track--is almost a Name That Tune fest. Elsewhere, it gets a little plodding at times, but as a document of a middle-age rocker who's mad as hell, it's very entertaining. --Bill Holdship

Advantages: Hours of fun, for the whole family Disadvantages: You arms can ache.
keep check on your stamina as a pink heart appears on screen and drains as you tire, just press the b button and you instantly regain your strength.
The gymnastic events include trampolining, vaulting, and you can also do skeet shooting, fencing and archery. These events can be very tricky but once you have perfected the routines, they are really good fun.
Fencing and table tennis are the events that I found to be very boring, and long winded, they were hard to hit your opponent and the movements you do don't seem to register on the game, I don't know if this was a floor in the game, but you can get round it if you improvise.
Within the Olympic game you have fantasy stages, which are races like the original Mario karts game, you race around the tracks throwing collected weapons at you opponents in a bid to win the race.
MOVEMENTS ...
Mario and Sonic have come together to make a game called "Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games" this game was made for the 2008 Olympic Games in China. It isn't a promo game and is still around. But is it worth it?
GAMEPLAY
You can choose from a variety of different games, like 100m, 100m freestyle, table tennis, pole vault etc. These are fun, but some of the controls are hard and get boring after a while.
GRAPHICS
The game has good graphics, and it is a game with both Mario AND Sonic in it. It's great that the two rivals look good together in one game. The graphics are 3D which is also good, because mainly in the "Mario" and "Sonic" games, the graphics are 2D. It's good that they look good in 3D
SOUND
There are good sound effects, like when you land on a mat, but there isn't much music. Most of the characters say ...
Advantages: Lots Of Events Disadvantages: No Online, Some Poor Events
Cashing In On The Olympics?
It can hardly have escaped your attention that the Olympic Games has been held in China and "Team GB" did quite well all things considered. So sales of this game must be up. This time Sega's Sonic The Hedgehog has joined in with Nintendo's Mario this time. The reason for this pairing up is purely commercial.
You can control a myriad of characters from the Mario and Sonic games, or you can play as your Mii character, I always do. Each character has different characteristics and handle events subtly differently. The events are split into the relevant categories of Track, Field, Gymnastics etc... There are nine categories in total.
Some events however are total turkeys such as rowing, where you have to maintain a rowing like motion with the two controls while pressing two ...
