Advantages: Nice side story Disadvantages: Bad picture quality, stupid ending and more
...made it worth my while really. I watched half of it and went and done something else and then came back to it. So I give it two stars due to the entertainment I wrung out of it. I wish Ciao had 10 star ratings some times.
The quality of the picture and sound of this DVD aren't great. The picture especially is rather dull and blurry at times. It is black and white obviously. I imagine you'd be hard pressed to find a copy of this with special features.
I have no idea why this is called The Devil's Daughter. It has elements of voodoo in it but the heroine and the villain have the same father so it's a ridiculous title. In the USA it is called Daughter of the Isle of Jamaica a title that has a lot more relevance to the actual film.

...I?ve always believed that if something seems too good to be true, then unfortunately it most likely probably is - Devil?s Advocate is a film that proves this only too well.....

Keanu Reeves plays the part of Kevin Lomax, a very successful defence attorney who has never lost a case in his entire career.
The film starts with Kevin defending a schoolteacher who has been accused by one of his pupils of molesting her. During the trial, Kevin comes to believe his client is guilty, (which he clearly is) however this doesn?t stop him from destroying the girl's credibility and getting Mr Getty off.

...The Plot
First Daughter is a romantic comedy film released in 2004. It stars Katie Holmes as Samantha Mackenzie, the president's daughter who enrols at a college and develops a relationship with another student at the college called James. Samantha feels she is given a new sense of freedom during her time away from the White House, and the advantages and disadvantages of her college life and education.
She wants to experience life without all the media attention and the pressures of living at the white house. No matter what she does though she always seems to upset her father with bad publicity.
She basically wants to live a normal teenage life; instead she is hounded by the media, and is constantly guarded by bodyguards. Despite all this she manages to meet a lad called James and they spend a lot of time together...
