Overview ------------ This film is definately for the girls as it has the inevitable romance story intertwined. Even so, this does not distract you from the fact that this film is special in a number of ways.
Leading Characters ------------------------ Leonardo Dicaprio plays Jack very well and his softness allows you to really emphasise with the character. This also makes you understand why Rose falls for him and leads you to really feel involved in the love story. The director had tried really hard to make their love seem as real as possible - and it really worked!
Notable features --------------------- The inequality and social hierarchy at the time was shown impecably and you really could feel how the less fortunate passangers felt.
The film leads up to the inevitable tragedy and an end in which culminates in the death of Jack. Both Leonardo DeCaprio and Kate Winslet were brilliant in this film and made the pashionate scenes really believable.
Overall -------- This film gives people who beforehand didnt know anything about the Titanic a firm understanding of the tragedy. The director (James Cameroon) has sewn together fact and fiction seemlessly to create an all time classic. Pure Brilliance!

This review tells me very little! I want to read about the film, How the cast are, whats it like! what happens but not too much. What does the special edition have over the standard format. Extras? - If you edit I will re-rate - Rob
