Okay, there are very few films that i have never had a problem with (you know not one, you love the actors, the story, you can't pick holes at all) but there is all ways an exception, and this is one of them!
To start the year is 3043, 15 years After Earth, after earth because the planet was destroyed by an alien race called the Drej, they are a hive mind, made of pure energy, and they will stop at nothing to destry the human race because of what the fear, the human imagination!
The human race if now made up out of a few 'Drifter Colonies' ships that have been wealded together to form giaint homes for a group of people that are left. The human race has one hope left, and the drej know it too, its called the Titan, no-one knows what it is or what it does, it is the reason the Drej destroyed the earth and hunt down the humans.
There is only one person who can find the Titan, the only problem is he is only concered with what he will get out of it! Cale (Matt Damon) was 4 years old when earth was destoryed, his father was the head man on the Titan Project, and when earth was blown up the last thing he said to Cale was 'i will come and get you soon, i promise' 14 years later Cale is still waiting, but he has given up hope and looks out only for himself.
Then Korso shows up, a space pirate, he tells Cale about the Titan and activates the ring that Cales father gave him, it contains a map to the location of the Titan, but will only display it on Cales hand!
The jorney to find the Titan has many funny points and a very un expected twist, to tell you would ruin it! the animation is Top notch and the sound track well, i bought the CD the first time i saw it after seeing the movie!
The Voices for the charators were spot on, and as for a choise for a bad guy (or bad race) the drej were fantastic and origainal, i would love a sequal to this movie but i think the plot might suffer a touch as it is very nicely wraped up at the end of the film...but if they came up with a story this good this time.....

Advantages: Wonderful animation, plot and characters. The soundtrack is also very good and worth buying. Disadvantages: The fact that this movie was sent to the cinemas over the Internet hyped over the the real quality of the animation.
