This time they learn all about different types of weather: you'll see them struggle against a strong wind; jump in puddles in the rain; and have all sorts of fun in the snow. The aliens discover lots of things across the small worlds they visit, taking them away from their favourite sofa. They are joined this time by Halley, who follows them about, giving a narration to the audience. Speaking of whom, the targeted ages are 3-6, but there's plenty for every age to enjoy. Episodes have been edited together to make for longer stories and running times. That also means more intense periods of your kids calling out for the cute "Locals" and nasty "Flockers". --Paul Tonks

The plot, if you think it’s important for a kid’s movie, goes like this:
Jimmy, in his quest to make contact with an advanced alien civilisation, launches a communication satellite cobbled together from his Mom’s toaster and various kitchen implements. A race of aliens, who basically look like a dollop of snot in a perspex eggshell, pick up his transmission, head to Earth and abduct all the adults with the intention of taking them back to their home planet and sacrificing them to their chicken god Poultra. They leave all the kids identical notes to say that their parents have gone for an extended vacation in Florida.
At first the kids of Retroville are delighted and binge...

Currently airing an episode every day on Milkshake on Five (I believe it also airs on Nick Jr.), Peppa Pig quickly endeared herself to my daughter, with the bright simple animation, cute voices, interesting sounds and catchy but simple theme tune.
This series is excellent for younger babies in my experience as it is simple and colourful enough to hold their attention. My daughter is nine months old now and loves it, it ranks in her top three! She has been watching it for several months.
I love it because it isn't too grating as pre school programmes go, in fact sometimes I realise I'm watching when baby has gone to sleep (it's a sad life eh!). I...

...The tiny european dictatorship Pottsylvania has fallen on hard times, following the collapse of the Iron Curtain. Pottsylvania's fearless leader hatches a plan to invade the real world with the help of his two assassins. The evil aliens head out into the wide open spaces of America, and begin their dastardly plan. This time around, they are buying up cable television stations all over America to setup 'Really bad television' to show silly shows to brainwash America to their ways. This film is fun to watch but if you do not like cartoons i don't recommend it....
