Thunderbirds are GO! (Sorry...)

Advantages: Story okay for kids, humour brilliant for adults
Disadvantages: Okay so the plot's weak.. .but who cares?!?!?

International Rescue. They go around the world rescuing people from natual and other catastrophes in their five hi-tech craft called "Thunderbirds" - numbered one to five. These craft have different abilities - one is actually a space station, one an underwater craft, one a rocket ship, etc. That should give you enough of an idea about the original to understand the rest of my review - if it doesn't, let me know! One of the main potential problems is that the main characters - Jeff Tracy and his sons - are? well, boring. However, the scriptwriters wisely chose to all but leave them out of this film - Bill Paxman as the dad gets a couple of scenes, but the sons between them have only about five minutes' worth of screen time! Review of Thunderbirds

thunderbirds are go

Advantages: feel good film, effects are better than the origianals!
Disadvantages: predictable

It was never going to be amazing we all knew it. It was watchable and wasn't boring but was very predictable. It was nice to see the vehicles actually flying and the people moving without the aid of strings. The story follows the thunderbirds after they return to there secret island to find out their space station TB5 has been badly damaged the team thinks its just a meteor strike but unknown to them master criminal The Hood did it so that the thunderbirds left the island and he could take it over, using the power of his mind he makes brain work for him. however he hasn't realised that Alan, Tin Tin and Fermat are still on the island and there not about to give it up. Brady Corbet plays Alan Tracy one of the three youngsters who go about saving Tracy island hes helped by Soren Fulton who plays Fermat a brilliant character ...

THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO

Advantages: Thunderbird 2 says 5 phrases but the other vehicles only say 3 phrases, the vehicles phrases are spoken by their pilot
Disadvantages: The batteries don't last very long, the vehicles are made of plastic so they may break easily in small childrens hands, the lever used to release the pod sometimes jams

the main vehicle by releasing the red lever which is located just in front of the tail on the main Thunderbird 2 body. The pod can hold one of the two other vehicles which are also included within this set, they are Thunderbird 4 and The Mole. They are small enough to fit into the pod but only one at a time. Both Thunderbird 4 and The Mole are yellow. Thunderbird 2 has retractable legs which are released by pushing the red buttons which can be found next to the pod - there is one red button on each side and each red button releases the two legs on its' side - to enable Thunderbird 2 to stand up you must release all four legs. There is another red button located on the front of Thunderbird 2 and this activates the voice which can be used to make playing with the vehicle more exciting.
