blissman70

One for those who like long films..
Review of The Departed DVD by
ellaj15
Advantages: Leonardo DiCaprio
Disadvantages: Takes too long to get in to it
...ages to get in to the story line and ages to get going. I can see how others would love this film, it does have all the right ingredients. Jack Nicholson has lost his talent, which is a shame because he has had amazing roles in the past. Leo DiCaprio is the only part of this film that kept it from being the worst film I have ever seen! However, if you want a fantastic story line and you like crime films then this should be seen. ...

Not as good as the first, still good
Review of Ocean's Twelve DVD by
fernando160
Advantages: great cast, good story, decent soundtrack, not bad sequel,
Disadvantages: lack of DVD extras, bit of a confusing ending,
Ocean's Twelve is the sequel to the hit crime/comedy "Ocean's Eleven", which reprises the all star cast including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Andy Garcia, Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Matt Damon.
Three years has passed since Ocean (Clooney) and his gang had stole $160 million from Terry Benedict's (Garcia) casinos, as well as his lover and now Oceans wife (for the second time) Tess (Roberts). Thinking each of them are in the clear, they ... ...using the share of the money stolen. However Lady Luck isn't smiling on the eleven as Benedict has tracked them down and wants one thing: his $160 million plus interest - a total of $198 million.
Unfortunately for Ocean, Rusty (Pitt) and the rest, they only have 14 days to get the money and the worst of it is after frivilous spending, they need close to $100 million and they can't "work" in the US.
How do the gang get the money: performing small ...

The film now departing from gate 3 is trash!
Review of Flightplan DVD by
atytyut2434
Advantages: Sean Bean
Disadvantages: Jody Foster, she's annoying!
This film is garbage. I've read that the lead character was going to played by Sean Penn. What happened there then? Jodie Foster is going to annoy you in this film. Parents might relate to the film better than people who haven't got any kids. Right. The start of this film is rubbish & totally not needed. We don't need to see her husband or see her seeing him in the morgue. All we needed was someone telling her he's dead and their transporting him ... ...Not needed. The family sitting in front of Jodie Foster quite obviously do see her child as they are all looking over the seats and talking to her for a good few minutes. I didn't really see the need to show the coffin on the luggage transporter. All that was required was Jodie asking a steward if the coffin was in the hold and then a shot of it in the hold.
I didn't understand why Jodie didn't explain her husbands death which would have made her ...
