The recruit, actors in training??

Advantages: decent story
Disadvantages: a bit predictable, not much action

...Colin Farrell is the obvious eye candy for the movie, there was a spate of movies that he was in as the good looking charming good guy with a rough attitude, and he does play these charater types well, therefore I really dont have any complaints about his performance (accent possibly a little dodgy at times Colin?) other than the fact that Im not too sure if I wouldn't notice him walking down the street no matter how discreet he was trying to be. ...

Review of The Recruit (DVD)

A good remake?!

Advantages: direction, cinematography, Williams' dark performance
Disadvantages: some aspects lost from the original, some characters are not as good. jusge for yourself.

This remake of the Norwegian version was saved by the cast and crew that were involved. Christopher Nolan directs the American version, this time set in Alaska which has similar climate and often features times of year where it is constantly light. Review of Devil's Advocate (DVD)

Two Acting Greats turn up the 'Heat'

Advantages: De Niro and Pacino together
Disadvantages: would have liked more focus on the main characters

...in mind I do think Heat is one of the best action crime dramas I have ever scene. I am never bored watching it, and have completely lost count how many times I have indeed watched it.
