...The strange case of Dr Jekyll an Mr Hyde. I am so glad i did, it was worth every penny ( not much at a fiver though!) and every second. Tom Jackman (Nesbitt) plays a loving husband and father who at any given moment can turn into a psychotic enraged madman who simply calls himself "Hyde". As Hyde's visits become more frequent, Jackman must seclude himself and keep Hyde under observation with the help of Katherine Reimer (played by Michelle Ryan). ...

I recently joined an online DVD club and Mr Brooks was the first film to be sent to me, as I work nights and am a bit of a wimp I decided to watch this film during the day in Bed, the result was I didn't get much sleep, not because it was overly spooky and I was scared to sleep but because it was a truelly gripping film and I did not want to miss a second of it. ...have everyones eyes glued to the screen, you just cant wait to see whats going to happen next. Tom Hanks plays Paul Edgecombe, a security gaurd working a death row. Advantages: Luke Wilson playing a serious role....
Disadvantages: The Policeman investigating a murder on his own

I quite enjoyed the film. I didn't find it scarey, although it was edge of the seat stuff. It was good to see Luke Wilson play a serious role for a change, as I have only ever seen him in comedies (Anchorman, Old School). It made a change to have something different in a film, with the main theme based arounf 'snuff' movies. ...I suppose!! The main part of the film takes part at a run down motel in the middle of the American countryside. The main characters played by Wilson and the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale are offered a room at this motel after their car breaks down. Vantage Point is not your normal film. I can't reveal much of the plot without ruining it though. The start is about the US president being assassinated in Spain and the assassinated and all the events around it are then shown from the perspectives or "vantage points" of about 9 people who were there. Each time a new perspective is shown, you will learn a little bit more about the film and find a new twist in the plot that will change your view ...
...are almost never as they seem. Judging on the way you see something, it could be the opposite of what it really is. I would really recommend buying or at least renting this film, it is great quality and despite what some people say you will be able to rewatch it. I would recommend this to anyone. ... Read review
