Advantages: Luminous lead performances supported by an excellent supporting cast
Disadvantages: None

...totally riviting crime-drama, directed by the award-winning Martin Scorsese, delivering what is undoubtedly his most enthralling film since the masterpiece "Goodfellas" (1990). "The Departed" was based on the Hong Kong film "Infernal Affairs" by Alan Mak and Felix Chong. William Monahan delivered the scorching screenplay, crackling with savage, brutal wit while producers of "The Departed" included Brad Pitt, Brad Grey and Graham King. With such a ...

Advantages: Easy to watch and very entertaining
Disadvantages: Could become repetitive?

...dedicated DI working for the Midsomer Constabulary in Causton. I love this character so much for so many reasons: My Dad was a DI, he looks like my Dad, his mannerisms are like my Dad and he has the same relationship with his daughter Cully, as I do with my Dad! Infact I think someone wrote this about my Dad! Anyway enough of all that, I digress. He is a very calm character, who years of experience in the force shine through as he goes about his ...

...is the pilot episode of Midsomer Murders and it’s easy to see why the series has become so popular. It has plot twists, interesting characters, humour, love, tragedy and of course, the beautiful setting of the English countryside. John Nettles as Barnaby has a charismatic charm that his humorous side-kick Troy lacks, and as such the two make a perfect crime-fighting duo. Unlike other murder mystery series, Midsomer Murders packs a punch with it’s ...

It's great!

Advantages: everything!
Disadvantages: some people might find it hard to understand

I love every Midsomer Murders that has ever been made and this one especially. It's another great Midsomer Murders, with a really unexpected spin. With Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby (played by John Nettles) and Sergeant Gavin Troy (played by Daniel Casey) it's about grace and deep love. I particularly loved it because of it's unexpected twist. It was hard for me to understand why the murder was commited, until I watched it again (my sisters didn't ...
