Hannibal
Advantages: great gruesome scenes and brilliant acting
Disadvantages: not for people with weak stomachs

**BRIEF PLOT**

Identity
Advantages: Strong plot, Strong Actors
Disadvantages: Some parts of the film are confusing.
Identity is a psycological horror film that was released in 2003. It is directed by James Mangold who has also directed Walk The Line, Girl, Interrupted and 3:10 to Yuma, which have all received Oscar Nominations respectively. The cast features John Cusack, Amanda Peet and Ray Liotta among others.

Narc
Advantages: performances, atmosphere, realism, end twist, brutal
Disadvantages: Doesn't break new ground
If you thought Ray Liotta was good in Goodfellas then you're in for an even better treat in Joe Carnahan's Narc. He plays the self-righteous and impetuous Lieutenant Oak, who we first see wrapping a pool ball in a sock and whacking a criminal's face in the middle of the police station. Oak's ex partner Calvess was murdered sometime ago, with no conviction, and he is understandably obsessed with finding the people responsible.

More big names than a Polish phonebook!
Advantages: Grade A acting, police corruption, great plot
Disadvantages: None
Copland is a fantastic film, I watched it when I rented it from my local library and I was absolutly hooked. It is the American version of Infernal Affairs, not only because police corruption is the fundamental aspect of the films but also in the spell-binding perforamcne given by an all-star cast, to excellent effect. The film see Sylvester Stallone, in a far cry from his (stereo)typical roles as an all out action hero, instead plays a deaf, overweight, ...

Big identity crisis
Advantages: great acting and well filmed
Disadvantages: none really!
...and after I finished watching Identity I realised this is one of those movies that gives you just that. So in answer to the question…Do I like it? The answer would have to be…Yes! The psychological thriller is just what people looking for a fabulous horror movie.
