Gaslight - Black and White Film (1944)

Advantages: This is a classic thriller film.
Disadvantages: The age of the film means it is in Black and white.

This is a classic film that I watched again last weekend the first time in many years. The film moves form Italy to Victorian London and tells the story of lost jewels, an old murder case and the haunting pschological abuse. Agatha Christie at her best

Advantages: the plots keep you watching for hours
Disadvantages: there is only 4 films

...is brilliant. If your an agatha christie fan you will love this. The most famous fim of them all is included (murder on the orient express). Action-packed with some witty dialogue but still flawed somehow

Advantages: Quite thrilling when it gathers pace, seemed an authentic depiction of London, some humour
Disadvantages: Something about Downey Jnrs depiction of Holmes didnt work somehow, not for all ages/the squeamish
