Lecter's back

Advantages: Brilliant acting, good storyline
Disadvantages: Dull in parts

Red Dragon is a serial killer thriller from 2002. Although is was made after Silence Of The Lambs and Hannibal it’s actually a prequel, Red Dragon was set in the 80’s and follows Doctor Hannibal Lecter’s arrest and incarceration. Silence of the lambs

Advantages: great story, good acting
Disadvantages: bit gorey, emtional issues

...because it is exciting and silence of the lambs is always exciting. I really enjoyed watching this way back when because it has an original storyline and excellent character portrayal from Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins. THE Basic Instinct

Advantages: Engrossing
Disadvantages: I would have liked a better ending

Why it was good

Advantages: Gave the audience a good douse of fear
Disadvantages: Left a few questions unanswered (why there were sequels)
