...The main problem with High Crimes is that it’s all been done before. The director fails to over us anything new and for this the film suffers. He’s tried to create a film that will keep you guessing what’s happened throughout with a few thrills along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed both Snatch and Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrells and was interested to see how the work of Guy Ritchie's side-kick Roger Donaldson worked out. The storyline which involved photos of important people, including a royal family member and an important judge in compromising nuddy positions with sordid sorts was always going to be quite exciting.
