Identity

Advantages: Strong plot, Strong Actors
Disadvantages: Some parts of the film are confusing.

Identity is a psycological horror film that was released in 2003. It is directed by James Mangold who has also directed Walk The Line, Girl, Interrupted and 3:10 to Yuma, which have all received Oscar Nominations respectively. The cast features John Cusack, Amanda Peet and Ray Liotta among others. 'What if every choice we made had already been made for us? Does Exactly What it Says on the Tin

Advantages: An anarchic sense of humour.
Disadvantages: A nonsensical story and bargain basement effects.

When he sees a pregnant woman being pursued by gun-toting thugs, mysterious Mr Smith comes to her aid. She dies in the ensuing fire-fight, literally leaving him holding the baby. He puts the child in the care of local hooker-with-a-heart-of-gold DQ, but then realises the child and not the mother was the intended target. Review of Shoot 'Em Up (Blu-ray)

Action-packed with some witty dialogue but still flawed somehow

Advantages: Quite thrilling when it gathers pace, seemed an authentic depiction of London, some humour
Disadvantages: Something about Downey Jnrs depiction of Holmes didnt work somehow, not for all ages/the squeamish
