Disadvantages: Not exactly scary, more sick.

2006 is the year the first trilogy of Saw ends with Saw 3, but over the past couple of years I have sat through Saw 1 and its sequel. If you're looking for a late Halloween scare you may want to pick up this boxset, which also includes White Noise. ...that violence isn't scary - more, when you're waiting for a bear trap to close on someones head, it's sick. Obviously this boxset will not be for the weak hearted. Disadvantages: More plot holes than a leaky bucket!

"Domestic Disturbance" is your standard thriller fare and due to one extremely unfortunately gaping hole in the plot it fails to deliver the impact that perhaps it should. Frank Morrison is obviously a great dad, he has a lovely close relationship with his son, Danny and he's still on good terms with his ex-wife Susan. The day of the wedding comes around and when a character from Rick's past, Ray appears Rick starts to behave in a less friendly way especially towards Danny. I saw this film last night and thought it was ok. I am not usually a horror film fan because i cant stand hiding behind a cushion for the whole film. With this it was more like csi or something where you get all the detail, you know what is going to happen but you dont fully see it. It is based around a policeman whose son is kidnapped by jigsaw. Advantages: Twisty turny thriller with a vicious streak
