Inspector Morse (played by John Thaw) is a Chief Inspector in the Thames Valley police. Unlike the usual gun toting, hard men police in similar ‘80s and ‘90s dramas, Morse prefers opera, real ale, art, literature and doing the Times crossword. He is bad tempered, stubborn and most of his love interests only last one episode. He is helped by the loveable Sergeant Lewis (Kevin Whately) who supports Morse through thick and thin ... ...are based on the novels of Colin Dexter and he has created intricate characters and plots which allow you to watch each episode over and over again. There are many layers and great wit in each one and you will find new things in them every time you watch them.
When the Morse series was commissioned, it was thought that there would be only a few episodes. How wrong they were! They are now a staple of the ITV3 weekend schedule and are currently running ...

Advantages: it is good and keeps you watching Disadvantages: you need to see saw I first
I saw this film last night and thought it was ok. I am not usually a horror film fan because i cant stand hiding behind a cushion for the whole film. With this it was more like csi or something where you get all the detail, you know what is going to happen but you dont fully see it. It is based around a policeman whose son is kidnapped by jigsaw. He puts this boy in a house with 6 other people. The game begins when the policeman finds jigsaw and ... ...his son being held. At this he begins to go mad and so jigsaw makes him talk with him and then the policeman begins to beat jigsaw up. Meanwhile in the house they are being poisioned by a deadly gas which slowly kills there nervous system and means they will bleed from every exit place. One by one they begin to bleed and the only way thay they can get passed this is to find the antidote that is in syringes and hidden around the house. All the people ...

From Hell is a 2001 film directed by The Hughes Brothers. Based on a similarly named graphic novel it is about the Jack the Ripper story from the point of view of the investigating detective Abberline played by Johnny Depp. The film starts in the seedy White Chapel area of London (I don't know much about London but I do know Whitechapel was one of the crappy brown properties in monopoly.) A small group of prostitute friends meeting with an old friend ... ...playing another policeman. A girl from the group of friends has been brutally murdered. Abberline usually has visions about such occurrences but he says to have not seen this one but another. One by one the girls are picked off. A man in a fine coach always approaches them and lures them in with grapes. Then leaves them horribly mutilated and lacking certain organs. Abberline along the way enlists the help of the royal physician played by Ian Holm ...

Tom Jackman (Nesbitt) plays a loving husband and father who at any given moment can turn into a psychotic enraged madman who simply calls himself "Hyde".
As Hyde's visits become more frequent, Jackman must seclude himself and keep Hyde under observation with the help of Katherine Reimer (played by Michelle Ryan).
... ...but he turns out to be more sinister and more terrifying than she could ever have imagined. She must keep the lights and cameras on at all times as Hyde will not attack her when "Daddy" can see.
As a result of this experiment, Jackmans Family life suffers and his wife Claire hires private detective played by Meera Syal to see whats going on.
His work as a research scientist suffers too and his "best friend" Peter Syme can't help.
I don't want ...
