Glorious, beautiful and well performed fun

Advantages: Performances are great and it is good fun
Disadvantages: Maybe a little light for true Hitchcock fans

Review of To Catch A Thief (DVD)

The softer side of Hitchcock

Advantages: A charming and witty soft fifties thriller - pleasing to the eye.
Disadvantages: More cool than chilling - it's not nail biting stuff.

This is one of Hitchcocks later films and with it, he seems to have lost much of what it was that made us love him so much - Psyco, the Birds, Dial M for Murder this is not. One of the best films of 2008

Advantages: Exciting, Thrilling
Disadvantages: I honestly can't think of any.

Liam Neeson plays a secret service type of guy, well a former secret service. . It reminded of The Bourne Indentity with a similar type of fighting role. I have been Taken by surprise.

Advantages: Good acting, great storyline!
Disadvantages: None,

We watched this film with my mum, dad and husband when they had it recorded on Sky Plus and nothing was on tv (once again it was a Wednesday night and it was just football which was on!!!!).
