Spooks series 4 is the first spooks set not ot begin on a cliff hanger. With Danny definitly dead (no there is no magic way of bringing him back, I'm sorry) the entire team is completely different from the original three Tom, Zoe and Danny. Danny is replaced with a new spook from MI6 Zafa ro Zaf for short. Zaf is an old friend of Adam's which gives the team a good relationship between all of them nothing could go wrong! ...hasn't been the way with Spooks as all the original cast have gone with the exseption of Malcolm, Harry and Colin and the show is still as good as it was in series 1. ...ths episode is amongst the finest television I have seen for some time. Along with the "spy" side the series gives focus on the effects that their job has on the character's personal life. Spooks series three was where i was introduced to the series and at first i was not greatly impressed. I thought the performances were a little wooden and the dialogue was somewhat labored. However as the series progressed i found myself finding excuses to tune in each week and while the stories were, in concept quite unimaginative, they were written in a way that made them entertaining and if not fresh, at least not too familier. ...MI5 suposedly consists of half a dozen agents and technical staff and the chemistry between some of the characters was neer nonexistant leading to awkward moments in the dialogue where the viewer if left feeling confused or as if they had missed something.
