Starring George Clooney, Ice T & Mark Wahlberg the film is quite different to what I expected. I knew the film was about the Americans during Desert Storm trying to find Saddam's hidden gold but there was more to it than that. The film starts with some enemy soldiers being detained and told to strip. One of the soldiers has a piece of paper (a map) protruding from his backside where he was trying to hide it!!! The gang ( Clooney & Co.) realise that this may be the map to the hidden gold and decide to follow it without telling anyone else. What follows is a mass of errors and catastrophese which ends with one of the group being taken by the enemy. The resistance help them to get him back from a big fortress where he is being tortured provided the americans return the hostages to the border. In the end the Kings give up the gold to ensure that the hostages are set free ( nearley had a tear running down my face). Some good effects and the sound is excellent on DVD. Dont thing I would watch it again but its worth a viewing.
