As it is now June its obviously going to be cheaper and I have seen them on ebay as low as £25 for all 5 series,10 hours of Thomas for £25 I think that speaks for itself!! If you find that that is too much the series can be brought single and I would say you would pick them up between £6 - £10 ...

Advantages: Lots of old classics and does not take up loads of room like videos
Disadvantages: Cant see any myself, all round 10/10

Thomas, Percy And The Coal Cows Berties Chase Saved From Scrap Old Iron Thomas And Trevor Percy And The Signal Duck Takes Charge Percy And Harold The Runaway Percy Takes The Plunge Pop Goes The Diesel Dirty Work A Close Shave Better Late Than Never Breakvan The Deportation Thomas Comes To Breakfast Daisy Percys Predicament The Dieseael Wrong Road Edwards Exploit Ghost Train Woolly Bear Thomas And The Missing Christmas Tree Last For over 2 hours (144 minutes) and because its on dvd when you stop it you can select the episode your child was up to and the quality and sound is excellent. thomas the tank engine

Advantages: easy understanding for the kids
Disadvantages: none

Thomas the tank engine i find is very popular among young children and a fasination to alot of them too. My young child loves thomas the tank i think its more that the trains talk that fascinates them more than the actaul series. My son is fascinated by trains and it has also learned him about passenger trains and freight trains so it is also educational as well. The only downside is that any products related to thomas the tank engine are very expensive to buy in shops. As children seem to want chracters from the series. Thomas is a great buy for children they have hours nof fun watching the film and they watch it over and over again. The programme focuses on about 6 engines who all have names the main focus is thomas who is decribed as the best engine . The story basically tells you about a normal day in the train station apart ...
