Advantages: In keeping with the classic TV show. Fun and educational. Entertaining. Disadvantages: Don't get to choose the letters or numbers. Rounds repeat too often.
...This Countdown DVD (presented by the now departed Des Lynam and Carol Vorderman, as it was produced in 2006), is based on the long-running classic TV show. It allows users to play the game for themselves against family and friends (or on their own if they wish) and recreate the fun and excitement of the show. For those who don't know the rules of Countdown, here's a general rundown.
Countdown comprises of letter rounds, number rounds and a conundrum. In the letters rounds (of which there are 11 in the 15-round format that the DVD follows), series of random consonants and vowels are chosen, and the object is to make the longest word you can from these letters (the longer the word, the more points scored. One point for each letter in the word and double for using all nine letters, which equates to 18 points). You have to try and score...

Advantages: Intersting courses and hole's. Good telescopic golf club peripheral. Disadvantages: Poor game! Lacking in detailed graphics, and fun! Does not pick up movement well!
...The game offers four different courses of 18 holes each, Single player and Multiplayer modes, and Player Customization. A telescopic golf club peripheral also comes in the game box.
But for a large portion of the game swinging the club is not a requirement! odd for a golfinggame on the wii right?!
The game is split into two parts: Arcade and Simulation. Both feature the same courses and holes. Offering the choice of full 18, front nine and back nine, but for some reason involve completely different control methods!
simulation mode, where its up to you to find the right strength of movement, usually results in bogeys, and forfeits following too many attempts!
In Arcade mode you only have one course available to play on until the other three courses are unlocked by finishing the course under par.
This is like mission impossible as...

Advantages: Educational, entertaining and historical. Disadvantages: Iambic pentameter isn't for everyone. Almost no extra features.
...Henry V is available on DVD in a 1989 production directed by, and starring, Kenneth Branagh. This is a direct and edgy story about England?s war with France in which the flower of the French aristocracy were slaughtered in the mud of Agincort beneath a rain of arrows from English longbow men.
Derek Jacobi is the chorus who introduces the stage on which this ?muse of fire? will burn, and it is a modern one with electric lights and props. I?ve seen many great plays lessened by attempts to insert images and allusions of contemporary culture none of which have the slightest relevance. Thankfully ? mercifully ? this is not. Once Jacobi pushes open the doors on that modern set we go into a believable world in period costume and make-up appropriate to the historical tale that is about to unfold.
The political machinations of the church...
