I've seen this movie twice now. Once on DVD Region 2 and once on TV.
Starring Matthew Lilliard (Hackers, Scream, Scream2) he plays a Ghost Hunter working for Cyrus Kriticos, a wealthy, egocentric man who collects Ghosts. On Cyrus's death, his broke brother, Arthur Kriticos and his children, Bobby and Kathy inherit Cyrus's mansion made of glass. Unfortunately little do they know but the basement contains 13 Ghosts, kept locked in and under control by spells. Things soon go awry when the family arrive, with the attorney and the family's Nanny. A twist in the tale is the dead wife of Arthur Kriticos and you'll have to watch the film to find out why.
The set is amazing, a house made of glass, alot of cgi involved -see the DVD extras for an indepth look. The make-up and special effects don't disappoint either, and plenty of blood splattered scenes for those who like the taste of ketchup!
Produced by Joel Silver(an absolute ton of films to his credit including all The Matrix movies, Ghost Ship, Gothika, Swordfish to name but a few) and Robert Zemeckis (Ghost Ship, Gothika and more). If you watch Ghost Ship you will see the 'slicing effect' used in that movie as it is in Thirteen Ghosts.

a lot more info is required about the acting quality and originality of the plot. I would also like to point out that there are 12 ghosts in the house, as Arthur is supposed to become the 13th. hannah xxx
