I have to say I was slightly disappointed. I was expecting the film to be scary and half decent, but unfortunately I personally didnt enjoy it. The 'haunted house', which is at the centre of the film is ridiculously unrealistic and the performances are mediocre. Okay so there are some great special effects and some mandatory horror movie blood and gore, which is quite effective but the plot is very weak. If you want a bit of gore and a few scary monsters, then this will do just fine, but if you want acting genius and a good plot, then look elsewhere! It's just not a very good movie, and I know my horror films, despite the modern special effects it's just not good.
